After years as educators, a retired couple decided to give back in a big way. Last Friday, they greeted every Double Creek Elementary graduate with a handshake and a $100 bill. They didn't stop there'they also gave $100 to every teacher and staff member in Drills ISD and Florence ISD. In total, they handed out $66,800. Their generosity brought joy to the entire community, showing the lasting impact of educators.
