For many of us, 2024 has been rough.
So if you're looking for a better 2025, this is what a health and wellness reporter did to better her life this past year.
She took a one month Social Media Detox. (click the link for more benefits.) Instead of scrolling, she scheduled 10 minutes every day to either look out the window and appreciate the beauty of God's creation. Or better yet, she took a daily 10 minute walk and focused on breathing in fresh air and feel the sun on her skin. She was able to sleep better, and noticed she wasn't as stressed. She also realized when she returned to social media her time spent online dropped from 6 hours a day, to 1 1/2 hours. FREEDOM!
Then she did something brave. She gained the courage to be disliked! She said it is proof that you are living your life for yourself, and not trying to live up to others expectations. "Living your life for yourself requires that you be unconcerned with the judgement of others and accept that you may never be recognized for what you contribute — and still make those contributions anyway. As long as you're honoring God, who cares what others think!"
