Many of us have to deal with customer service and hopefully you'll get a kind professional to help you.
Me? Well... I had two experiences that were completely different.
My first call went perfectly. I calmly explained my dilemma and the rep immediately understood that they had overcharged me, refunded my money and apologized. Thank you!
Then there was my second call to a carwash. One that I cancelled our monthly unlimited washes back in May and just noticed on my credit card statement that they still charged me in May. And June, July, and August. Nearly $150!
I spoke calmly there too, but the rep was kinda rude. Still, I know a soft answer can turn away wrath so I remained cool. The rep? Not so much.
Still, the best way to deal with rudeness is kindness. And after nearly 20 minutes...
He was still rude.
Oh well, I'll try again later.
