Have you ever had one of "those mornings? I sure did.
I noticed my favorite pair of slacks that I hadn't worn in awhile. Their kinda like golfer's slacks made with a Polyester-cotton blend. Super comfortable, perfect for days like today.
But I noticed a slight wrinkle in the thigh, so I plugged in the iron...
Yeah. Scorched them. Ruined. Destroyed.
I always try to get over disappointments like this by telling myself, "Well, if this is the worst thing that happens to me today, then I'm having a good day."
Except this time, it didn't feel like a good day. In fact, I yelled! I was angry with myself!
I LOVED those slacks. Plus, they were super expensive and I was so happy to find them on sale for 80% off!
Now they were gone because of my mistake.
I told myself again, "If this is the worst thing that happens to you, you're having a good day."
But it took a long time believing it.
