Colony Police Save Man From This Burning Car

Many of us have heard, "right place-right time" and this is definitely what happened in the Colony.

Last Friday a North Texas man was saved thanks to the heroic actions of police officers in The Colony just before his car was consumed by flames.

Authorities said they responded to a major collision around 1:23 a.m. in the 5700 block of South Colony Boulevard at Highway 121 on July 19.

The Colony Police Department shared the video from Officer Edwardo Hernandez's body camera, which showed the intense moments when officers arrived at the scene. They found a car pinned between two dividing barriers along the southbound and northbound lanes of the overpass.

As you can hear and see below, the man was pulled from the car just in time.
