Trillions are set to emerge, and believe it or not, some folks can't wait—because they're eager to cook up their favorite cicada recipes.

Social media influencer Shane swears they're a treat, with a sweet and bitter flavor akin to walnuts and a crunchy texture like soft shell crab. Some even suggest using them as a shrimp substitute.

As for me, I'll stick to enjoying their buzzing rather than their taste!
