Even if you're not a sports fan, this isn't really a sports story. It happened at a baseball game, though. Wes Clarke, who plays for Triple-A Nashville, got baptized in a baptismal tub right there in the stadium after the game.
He wanted to profess his faith in front of everyone. He changed into a T-shirt that read "Jesus Won," got baptized, and said, "Thank you, Jesus, for this amazing moment in my life. I'm incredibly blessed to be surrounded by so many supportive people. It was such a special night. Amen."
It's about celebrating faith in a unique and public way.
