If you’ve ever felt like Jesus wouldn’t invite you to His table because of your past – you’re not alone. I’ve felt that too. But then I look at the Last Supper. Jesus sat at the table with His closest friends: the ones who had seen miracles, walked with Him, learned from Him. And right there beside them… was Judas. The one who would betray Him.
Jesus knew... and He still gave him a seat.
That tells me something about the heart of Jesus. He doesn’t shut the door on broken people. He opens it. And because of His mercy and grace, we don’t have to hide in shame. We can come to Him honestly, repent, and find forgiveness.
Ephesians 1:7 says: “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace.”
So if you’re wondering if there’s a place for you at the table... there is.
