When You’re Not Sure What to Do, Prayer and Patience Go Hand in Hand

Ever felt stuck between being okay with how things are and wanting some change? That’s where Caryn and have been at lately. We had this big chat on our drive home about changes we thought we needed, but couldn’t figure out what to do next. Then, right there in the car, Caryn just said, “Let’s pray right now.” So, there we were: one driving, the other praying.

It’s so nice having a “let’s just pray” person in your life. After praying, it felt less about rushing to change and more about waiting to see where God leads us. It reminded me of what God says about patience in Colossians 3:12: “Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.”
