When things go wrong, I know exactly what to do — I pray. I lean into God, asking for His help, His peace, His rescue. But when things are going right? That’s when I can get a little spiritually lazy.
It’s easy to let gratitude slide when life feels smooth. But Psalm 136:1 reminds me, “Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good. His love endures forever.”
His love doesn’t change with my circumstances — so my gratitude shouldn’t either. The good days are actually some of the most important moments to pause, remember where those blessings came from, and say thank you.
