When It Comes to the Bible, if You Don’t Use It, You Can Lose It

Reading the Bible is essential, but have you ever thought about what might happen if you lost the truths you've learned? Paul gave Timothy some advice in 2 Timothy 1:14: “Guard the good deposit that was entrusted to you—guard it with the help of the Holy Spirit who lives in us.”

This idea of guarding really strikes a chord. It reminds us that our spiritual knowledge isn't static—we're either enriching it or letting it slip away. The more we immerse ourselves in the Scriptures, the more vivid and present God's words are in our lives. Conversely, the less we engage, the more we risk losing those valuable insights.
