When my son was little and learning to ride a bike, his biggest question was, “But what if I fall?” So I’d run alongside him and say, “I’ve got my hand on the seat. I won’t let you go.”
And you could see the shift in his face. My promise gave him the confidence to try.
That same image came to mind recently when I read Isaiah 41:10 - “Fear not, for I am with you... I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
God doesn’t just cheer us on from a distance. He’s actively holding us up. His strength sustains us when ours runs out, and His presence gives us courage when fear creeps in. He’s not letting go - even when the path gets wobbly.
