After Father's Day, I've been reflecting on Matthew 7:22, where Jesus talks about doing good works in His name but not having a true relationship with Him. It's a reminder that Jesus desires more than just our actions'he wants a personal connection with us.
Like welcoming a stranger versus my own son at the door, Jesus invites us into a deep, meaningful relationship with Him as friends (John 15:15).
This Father's Day has taught me that true fulfillment comes from knowing and being known by Jesus, not just from religious activities.
