What Does It Mean to Have Jesus As A Friend?

Often, we see Jesus as Lord, but the idea of Him as a friend might feel distant. I find myself calling out to Him as Lord in prayers, yet in John 15:15, Jesus adds another layer to our relationship'he calls us friends. He says, "I've shared everything from my Father with you."

This changes things. It's not just about following rules; it's about friendship. It's an open-book relationship where we can be honest, ask questions, and share our deepest thoughts because we're loved. Jesus is for us because we're His friends.

When I pray, it's not just about talking to a distant God; it's about chatting with a friend who knows what's best for me. It's a relationship built on trust, openness, and the assurance of His unfailing love.
