We're As Tiny As Ants In The Universe, Yet God Cares For Us | Morning Motivator

Have you noticed there seem to be more ants right now?

They're so small that I usually don't even notice them unless they are somewhere they're not supposed to be. If I'm walking across the patio, I may step right over them, or maybe even on a few of them, and never realize it.

And I know that's not the most pleasant picture, but it got me thinking about how small I am compared to everything God has made.

When you think about the whole universe, the sky, the stars, the moon, the galaxies we can’t even fully understand, it can make you feel pretty tiny. Like an ant on the patio.

But that’s not how God sees us.

Psalm 8:3–5 says, "When I consider the heavens and the works of your hands; the moon and the stars which you have made, what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you visit him. For you have made him a little lower than the angels and you have crowned him with glory and honor."

That verse is amazing to me because David is looking up at the sky and realizing how small he is, but he's also realizing how deeply God cares.

God is not overwhelmed by the size of the universe. He is not too busy holding the stars in place to notice what is happening in your life. He knows the details. He knows the worries you carried into today. He knows the prayers you have prayed quietly, the things you have not told anyone else, and the places where you feel small.

And somehow, the God who made the moon and the stars is mindful of you.

You may feel tiny in the middle of everything going on in the world, but you are not tiny to Him.
