I heard an analogy from a pastor recently that really stuck with me. He said sometimes we’re like a dog playing fetch – we chase after what the Master throws, full of energy and trust. But when it’s time to go again, we don’t let go of the ball. We clamp down, hang on tight, and then wonder why God’s not moving.
That hit me. Because there are things in my life I keep trying to manage on my own… and then I wonder why I’m not seeing Him work.
Ecclesiastes 3:6 says that "there is a season for everything, a time to hold on and a time to let go." Sometimes, surrender is what unlocks the next move.
