After receiving life-saving transfusions as a teenager, he spent 63 years donating plasma every two weeks - saving over 2 million lives, including his own grandchildren.

James passed away this month at 88, but his legacy lives on. Scientists have used his blood to recreate the antibody, ensuring that millions more babies can be saved!
