The Hidden Truth of Heaven | Morning Motivator

You may have seen the story recently about a lost aircraft called the Clipper Endeavor. It had been missing for more than 70 years, and explorers finally found it at the bottom of the ocean.

They had to use special equipment to go deep enough to see it. Nearly 2,000 feet below the surface, in the darkness, they were able to make out the remains of that aircraft. It had been there all along, but no human eye could see it. No human hand could reach it. It was hidden from view, but it was still real.

That made me think about heaven.

There are some things that are beyond what we can see on our own. We can’t reach heaven by human strength. We can’t uncover every mystery by human wisdom. We can’t see all that God has prepared with our eyes right now, but that does not make it any less true.

The love of God is that He sent His Son, Jesus, to make a way where there was no way. Heaven is not something we discover by our own effort. It is something God opens to us through Christ.

1 Corinthians 2:9 says, “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human heart can conceive, God has prepared these things for those who love him.”

I love that because it reminds me that God’s promises are bigger than my imagination. Heaven is not just slightly better than what I know now. It is beyond what my eyes have seen, beyond what my ears have heard, and beyond what my heart can even begin to understand.
