Listen to Texas Fireworks Stand Owner Offers Grace To Burglar
You’ve probably seen those roadside fireworks stands popping up all over Texas this time of year. One of them, called Johnny Fireworks, was robbed this week. Thousands of dollars in fireworks gone. Even more damage done to the building.
But what the owner, Jonathan, did next? Totally unexpected.
He didn’t lash out. He didn’t rant on social media. He posted the security footage, not to shame the guy... but to offer him a job. And a little cash. His words were, “Let’s stop the downward spiral.”
It stopped me in my tracks. That kind of grace is rare. It reminded me of Romans 12:21: “Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”
