There’s dedicated... and then there’s pajamas-at-10pm-plugging-in-Chromebooks dedicated.
Sixth grade teacher Sarah Ashley Winans woke up in the middle of the night with one panicked thought: she forgot to plug in the Chromebook cart for state testing. So what did she do? Jumped out of bed, grabbed her keys, and drove to the school (still in her full pajama set and pink bonnet) to make it right.
She even gave a peace sign to the security camera on her way out. And while her video went viral for being funny (and it is), I just kept thinking… what an incredible example of the unseen ways teachers show up for their students.
