Praise That Breaks Down Prison Walls | Morning Motivator

I tend to praise God the most when things are going well. When life feels good, it’s easy to be thankful. But when things are hard? That’s when it gets real.

Paul and Silas praised God from prison. Not after they were freed... while they were still chained up, bruised, and stuck in a dark cell. And their praise didn’t just lift their own hearts - it literally shook the foundations, opened the doors, and set people free.

"About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God… suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken" (Acts 16:25–26).

That story challenges me. Because if praise can break through prison walls, what might it do in the middle of my struggle?

Maybe you’re in a hard moment right now. If so, you’re not alone. And maybe - just maybe - your praise right there in the middle of it is more powerful than you realize.
