I think most of us want the same things in life: to be healthy, to stay sharp, and to live with joy for as long as we can.
Well, there’s a 90-year-old woman who says she’s figured out a few keys to doing just that. Things like being kind to yourself, practicing gratitude, choosing joy... all stuff that makes sense.
But then she said something that made me laugh: she decided to cut onion rings out of her diet. At 90!
At first I thought, really? But the more I sat with it, the more I realized... she’s not just being funny. She’s showing us that growth isn’t something we age out of. That kind of self-awareness, the willingness to change, even in small ways, says a lot about who you’re becoming.
She’s reminding us that it’s never too late to take care of yourself, to make a different choice, or to become a little more of the person God made you to be.
