It's said that we spend two years learning to talk and a lifetime learning when not to. This week, Proverbs 18:2 struck me with its truth: "A fool takes no pleasure in understanding, but only in expressing his opinion."
How often do we find ourselves speaking when we should be listening? Ephesians 4:29 offers further guidance, instructing us, "Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs that it may benefit those who listen."
It’s about speaking with purpose and listening with intent.
