When Jesus was crucified, He wasn’t alone. Two criminals were hanging on crosses beside Him – both guilty, both suffering – but only one responded in faith. One mocked, but the other recognized who Jesus was. He admitted his guilt, acknowledged Jesus’ innocence, and said, “Jesus, remember me when You come into Your kingdom” (Luke 23:42).
That one moment of humility and faith changed everything. And Jesus’ response? “Truly I tell you, today you will be with Me in paradise” (Luke 23:43).
It’s such a clear reminder of the Gospel: it’s not about what you’ve done, it’s about who you believe in. Jesus offers grace to anyone who will receive it.
