Priscilla Shirer sat down and wrote something that I thought was insightful. Maybe you can relate.
She called it “If I Were Your Enemy”.
If I were your enemy...
I would magnify your fears.
I would make them appear insurmountable.
I would intimidate you with enough worries until avoiding them became your driving motivation.
I would use anxiety to cripple you to paralyze you, leaving you indecisive.
Clinging to safety and sameness always on the defensive because of what “might happen” ...
That sounds to me EXACTLY what the REAL enemy of our souls is up to.
Let’s ask God for the grace today to focus on His truth and not on the devil’s lies! (Hebrews 12:2)
