Searching for a new house has got us seeing some incredible places. It’s easy to start wishing for all these nice things. It reminds me of Psalm 73 where it talks about how tempting it is to desire what the world offers. But the real deal is what comes after, right?
"You hold me by my right hand. You will guide me with Your counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. Whom have I in heaven but You? And there is none upon earth that I desire besides You. My flesh and my heart fail; but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever." —Psalm 73:23-26
This shifts our focus back to what’s eternal. That's the treasure worth chasing.
