Sometimes it's the little things that lead to big changes. Back in junior high, I started quilting, which surprisingly opened up a whole new chapter in my life. It began simply enough at my neighbor Brooke’s house, where her mom shared her love for quilting with us kids. As we spent hours at their home, quilting and snacking, Brooke’s parents offered something else too: a weekly Bible study.
This casual gathering became my first real introduction to God’s word. It was there that I began to explore who God was and what faith could mean in my life.
