How Can You Not Believe in God When Octopuses Dream… | Morning Motivator

Sometimes you stumble across something so incredible that you just have to share it.

I came across this recently, and I haven’t stopped thinking about it:

How can you not believe in God...

when octopuses dream,
otters have a favorite rock,
cows have best friends,
and bees communicate the coordinates of flowers through dancing?

Cats purr at frequencies associated with bone healing.
Forests get completely incinerated and respond by growing flowers.
Crows remember your face, and they tell their children about you. You can have a generational beef with a bird.

Rats laugh when you tickle them.
Elephants mourn their dead.
Whales make songs, and other whales learn those songs.

A caterpillar goes into a little bag that it creates, dissolves its body into organic goo, rearranges itself, and then grows wings.

Your body started as one cell. One. And that cell divided into a brain that can think about its own existence, eyes that can look at stars, and hands that can hold the hand of someone you love.

We walk around on a wet rock covered in bioluminescent oceans, with singing whales, laughing rats, birds holding grudges, and flowers exploding out of fire.

And somehow we’re supposed to believe that all this is normal, and that this came from a random, accidental sequence of events.

John 1:3-4 says, “All things were made through Him, and without Him was not anything made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.”

There is so much in this world that is strange and beautiful and wonderful. For me, all of it keeps pointing back to the God who made it.
