A listener recently asked me something really raw: “Have you ever been so mad at God that even if He offered help, you wouldn’t take it?”
That kind of honesty... it hits. Because maybe you’ve been there. Maybe you’re there right now.
I’ve had seasons where I’ve been frustrated and confused. Where I’ve prayed and nothing changed. And while I might not have turned away from God entirely, I’ve definitely felt the ache of wondering where He was.
In moments like that, it’s easy to believe the lie that your pain is permanent. That it will always feel like this. That God doesn’t care.
But Romans 8:18 tells us, “I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.” In other words: this won’t last forever. It matters. It hurts. But it’s not the end of the story.
If you're sitting in the middle of heartbreak or anger or confusion right now, hold on. God can handle your emotions, your questions, even your silence.
Better days are coming. Not because your pain isn’t real... but because His promises are.
