Does My Life Attract Others To Jesus?

I read something the other day that stopped me in my tracks. It said, “If you chase butterflies, they’ll fly away. But if you plant a beautiful garden, they’ll come to you.”

That made me think: what kind of “garden” is my life? Am I living in a way that draws people toward Jesus, or am I too busy chasing? I want the way I speak, the way I love, the way I show up for people to reflect something deeper... something that makes others say, “I don’t know what that is, but I want it.”

Ephesians 4:22–25 says, “You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body.”

That’s the kind of life I want to build: one where the love of Jesus is obvious, even without a word.
