There’s something beautiful about the way a child reaches up for you, completely trusting that you’ll hold them. No hesitation, no doubt – just pure faith that you’ll hold on tight and not let go.
I think that’s a picture of how God loves us. When we reach up for Him, He’s already reaching down to hold us, and His grip never fails. Our security isn’t in our strength, but in His unbreakable love.
Romans 8:38 says, “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, angels nor demons, the present nor the future, nor any powers, height, depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
That’s the kind of love that holds on, no matter what. So when life feels shaky, remember – you’re safe in His arms.
