I’ve always leaned on humor... sometimes in serious moments, too (which doesn’t always go over well). But I used to wonder, why am I wired this way?
Comedian Jeff Foxworthy said he wrestled with that same question when he was younger. He loved God, but didn’t feel like he “fit” in the serious church environment he grew up in. Years later, God helped him see: that humor was part of his purpose.
And that stuck with me.
God made you on purpose – and yes, that includes your quirks, your passions, even your sense of humor. You are His masterpiece.
