On the Ground with Samaritan’s Purse is a half-hour weekend program that takes listeners to the frontlines of Samaritan’s Purse’s global relief efforts. Since its founding in 1970, Samaritan’s Purse has rushed to provide food, water, shelter, and medical care to those affected by catastrophic events worldwide. Hosted by Kristy Graham, the program offers behind-the-scenes stories from staff, volunteers, and those served—challenging listeners to pray, reflect, and consider how they, too, can be the hands and feet of Jesus in their own communities. Through powerful firsthand accounts, On the Ground reveals stories of redemption and hope, showing how God creates beauty from ashes and transforms lives through this ministry’s work.
Kristy Graham is the host of On the Ground with Samaritan’s Purse, which launched in 2019 to share powerful testimonies of how God is working through the ministry around the world. With a deep passion for telling stories that reveal the heart of Samaritan’s Purse—from leadership and staff to those they serve—Kristy sees each episode as an opportunity to glorify Jesus Christ and highlight His transformative work. Outside of the hosting On the Ground with Samaritan’s Purse, Kristy and her husband, Edward, are raising their four children in the mountains of North Carolina, where they enjoy life rooted in faith and family.
