Howdy, folks (I snagged that from Big Tex)! I’m Dave Moore. You might notice a couple of things while listening to me on KCBI: I talk fast and have a bit of an East Coast accent. What’s that about? I’m originally from New Jersey, lived in Philadelphia, PA (not an Eagles fan) for a while, and toss in Arizona, too. When you mix all that together you get…well, me. You’ll hear some of that Jersey come out from time to time, but that’s how God made me. Now, don’t let any of that fool you because when my wife and I moved to Texas I said, “We’re home.” I’m working on my ‘y’all,’ but I’ll get there.
Quick facts about me:
Wife: Heidi.
Daughter: Emily.
Cat: Earl Grey (named after my favorite tea).
Bible verse: Matt 17:20 - He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
When I’m not on KCBI, you’ll often find me at a Buc-ee’s, browsing Josey Records in Dallas, carting family and friends to the Dr. Pepper Museum in Waco, getting lost in Costco, or just exploring our great Lone Star State! One of my BIG goals since I moved to Texas is to visit every state park. I have a lot of work to do…
But I just want to say thank you. The world needs hope in Jesus now more than ever, and you’re helping to spread the Gospel message of hope with your support. Thank you for being part of the KCBI family.
Blessings,
Dave Moore
