Description
Trinity Christian Academy's Trinity Art Gallery (TAG) is hosting an exhibition titled Heads, Faces and Spiritual Encounter that will run through November, open to all members of the public. Comprised of works differing in conceptions, styles and media, the exhibit offers a thoughtful and enjoyable glance at the mystery of the human face and the spiritual realm that it alludes to, with paintings, drawings, and sculptures by several renowned artists including Picasso, Chagall and Matisse.
The exhibition focuses on works representing Christ's face; it is His Face, The Face, that gives our faces a meaning, and it is Christ who testifies to our incarnate nature. The show hopes to allow viewers to engage in transparent conversations about faith and the human condition, and encourages students to practice critical thinking, creative writing and engage in lively discussions.
The exhibition is open to the public for all of October and November during regular school hours, Monday-Friday; 8 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (with the exception of the week of Thanksgiving when TCA will be closed). Visitors will need to check in at the Middle School building, which can be accessed through the parking lot on Sojourn Road at the intersection of Addison Rd. and Sojourn Rd.
