Your Basketball Cheat Sheet

If you don't know about March Madness and all of the basketball talk that's going around, please allow me to help you.

Thursday the North Texas Mean Green men will play for the National Invitational Tournament Championship against the University of Alabama Birmingham Blazers.

Friday at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, the Women's Final Four Tournament tips off, with Kim Mulkey returning home. She coached Baylor to three college basketball championships before leaving two years ago for her home state Louisiana State University Tigers. She became the first person in NCAA women's basketball history to win a national championship as a player, assistant coach, and head coach. Her Tigers will play #1 seed Virginia Tech Hokies. In the nightcap #2 seed the Iowa Hawkeyes and star player Caitlin Clark will try to beat undefeated and defending national champion #1 South Carolina Gamecocks. The winners will play for the national championship on Sunday night.

The men's Final Four tips off Saturday night in Houston where #9 seed the Florida Atlantic Owls take on the San Diego State Aztecs who are a #5 seed. The Miami Hurricanes are also a #5 seed and they'll play the #4 seed UConn Huskies. Those winners will play for the men's national championship on Monday.

BTW, out of over 22,000,000 brackets filled out, only SIX correctly picked these four team! You can read about that here:

AND! The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Class of 2023 has been announced with the Mavericks great Dirk Nowitzki and Spurs legend Greg Popovich being elected for enshrinement.

FINALLY! If all of this basketball talk has been too much in your home, Josh and I talk about ways to keep your family first in the latest Old Dad/New Dad.
