The Veterans Thrift Store is owned and operated by Veterans for Veterans. It opened in December of 2011 to help provide support to our men and women in Uniform.  Our goal is to open 10 stores throughout the DFW area, and employ only Veterans.  Since our opening we have been successful in hiring 6 Veterans in the store due to our business taking off due to stories about our store.  Now the store is threatening to close due to lack of support.  We have gone from earning $800.00 a day to $200.00 a day.  We had to lay off 4 Veterans so far, and may have to close our doors if we can't get our sales up.
